REGISTRATION INFORMATION

ENTRIES

  • Entry fees are as follows:
  • Entry fee includes $2.00 per day insurance.
  • Unattached riders, except for purchasers of one day USCF licenses, must pay a $5.00 surcharge.
  • Public riders may compete in the Senior Men 5, Senior Women 4 or Vets Women 35+ categories by paying $25 for one-day entrants or $55 for Stage Race entrants, which includes an additional $5.00 one-day USCF license surcharge per day.
  • Entry fee waved for USCF and Canadian National Champs.
  • Foreign riders must possess an international license to race in the US.
  • FIELD LIMITS

  • Categories are limited to 175 (Senior Men Pro/1/2), 125 (Senior Men 3 and 4), 75 (Senior Women 1/2/3), 50 (Junior Men/Women, Vets Men 35+, Vets Men 45+/55+, and Senior Men 5) or 30 (Senior 4/Vets 35+ Women) with a total field limit of 700.
  • The promoter reserves the right to combine categories if minimum field limits are not met. The minimum field limits are 125 (Senior Men Pro/1/2), 75 (Senior Men 3 and 4), 50 (Senior Women 1/2/3), 25 (Junior Men/Women, Vets Men 35+, Vets Men 45+/55+, and Senior Men 5) or 15 (Senior 4/Vets 35+ Women).
  • PRE-REGISTRATION

  • All riders must submit an entry form with proper payment postmarked prior to May 24th to avoid the $5.00 late fee. Mail and/or E-mail will acknowledge receipt of the entry form up to 1 week before the race.
  • Make checks payable to "Olean Cycling Club."
  • NO PHONE OR E-MAIL REGISTRATIONS!
  • NON US CITIZENS MUST SEND A US MONEY ORDER!,

  • CHECK-IN

  • All Stage Race entrants must check in Thursday, May 28th between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM or Friday, May 29th between 8:00 AM and 5:30 PM at the Inn at Holiday Valley in Ellicottville (check-in for Junior Men and Women will also be held on Saturday, May 30th between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM at the Inn at Holiday Valley). Registration for each category closes one hour prior to each category's Time Trial start time!
  • All riders and/or team managers for the Senior Men Pro/1/2 and Senior Women 1/2/3 must attend mandatory meetings at 10:00 AM and at 10:30 AM, respectively, at the Holiday Valley Resort Main Chalet, adjacent to the registration site. All riders for these 2 categories must be registered prior to this meeting!
  • Registration for one-day public entrants will be held at the daily sign-in for the Stage Race entrants. Registration for public riders closes one hour prior to the category's start time! Friday sign-in is at registration at the Inn at Holiday Valley. Saturday sign-in is at the start line at the Holiday Valley Resort (Junior sign-in is at registration at the Inn at Holiday Valley). Sunday sign-in is at the start line in downtown Olean.
  • Senior Men 5, Senior Women 4 and Vets Women 35+ riders receive a free race T-shirt (1 per person).
  • To get to registration at the Inn at Holiday Valley, use exit #21 (Salamanca - Parkway Drive) from Route 17 (Southern Tier Expressway). Turn right and follow the signs for Route 219 North and Ellicottville. The Inn at Holiday Valley is on the left side at the first traffic light south of the Village of Ellicottville.
  • Course maps and Time Trial start times will be provided at registration.

  • LODGING INFORMATION

    Special room rates are available for race participants at the Inn at Holiday Valley and the Holiday Valley 1, 2, and 3 bedroom condominiums. For prices, please call the Inn at Holiday Valley, 716-699-2336, or Holiday Valley Rental Management Services, 716-699-2000, and ask for the rates for the bike race participants.

    Where?Olean, a city of 18,000 in Cattaraugus County, New York, borders Pennsylvania to the south and is 75 miles southeast of Buffalo. The major east-west highway is State Route 17 (Southern Tier Expressway) and the major north-south highway is US Route 219. Travel time is approximately:

  • 6 hours from Philadelphia, PA and New York City
  • 6 1/2 hours from Washington, DC
